About Me

Hello! My name is Leah, and I'm the senior politics editor at WIRED. 

 

I'm an Emmy award winning editor and have been published in The Atlantic, The New York Times, VICE, The Washington Post, among other publications. I also wrote Rwanda’s section for Fodor’s 2018 print edition of A Complete Guide To African Safaris, and contributed to Atlas Obscura's recent book.

I have a BA from Dartmouth College in Women's and Gender Studies and African Studies and an MS from the University of Cape Town in Gender Studies. I also have an MS from Columbia Journalism School.
